“Succession”, “The Bear” e “Rixa” vencem Emmys

Depois da vitória nos Globos de Ouro, “Succession“, “The Bear” e “Rixa” resgataram os principais Emmys numa cerimónia de grande produção, com cheirinho a Óscares.

A quarta temporada de “Succession” foi coroada como Melhor Série Dramática na 75.ª cerimónia dos Emmys, que decorreu em Los Angeles e também premiou “The Bear” e “Rixa” com múltiplas estatuetas. 

A cerimónia recordou de forma emotiva, com muitos dos seus protagonistas, séries como “Os Sopranos“, “Cheers – Aquele Bar“, “Ally McBeal“, “The Arsenio Hall Show”, “Martin” e “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. Infelizmente também convidou os atores de “Anatomia de Grey” que, na celebração da 20.ª temporada da saga, conseguiram fazer a figura mais absurda da noite (vergonha alheia). Por outro lado, o apresentador Anthony Anderson e, sobretudo, a sua mãe Doris Hancox (“cronómetro” dos discursos), foram os responsáveis por alguns dos momentos mais divertidos, a léguas da sofrível apresentação dos Globos de Ouro pelo comediante Jo Koy, onde alguns dos premiados foram repetidos.

“Succession” (HBO) tinha 27 nomeações e venceu seis das principais categorias de drama, incluindo Melhor Série, Melhor Atriz para Sarah Snook, Melhor Ator para Kieran Culkin, Melhor Ator Secundário para Matthew Macfadyen, Melhor Realização para Mark Mylod e Melhor Escrita para Jesse Armstrong. 

“Rixa” (Netflix) foi outra das grandes vencedoras da noite. Levou quase tudo o que importava na categoria de Minissérie ou Série de Antologia: Melhor Série, Melhor Atriz para Ali Wong, Melhor Ator para Steven Yeun, Melhor Realização e Melhor Escrita para Lee Sung Jin.
 
“The Bear” (FX) foi a Melhor Série de Comédia, deu a Jeremy Allen White o prémio de Melhor Ator, rendeu a Ayo Edebiri a Melhor Atriz Secundária e a Ebon Moss-Bachrach Melhor Ator Secundário. Chris Storer também foi distinguido pelo trabalho na série da FX com Melhor Escrita e Melhor Realização, elevando para seis os Emmys atribuídos esta noite. 

Apesar do domínio destas três séries, houve prémios individuais que distinguiram os trabalhos noutros títulos. Ainda em comédia, Quinta Brunson quebrou a espiral de vitória de “The Bear” ao vencer o Emmy de Melhor Atriz, pelo papel em “Abbott Elementary”. 

Em drama, Jennifer Coolidge foi a Melhor Atriz Secundária por “The White Lotus”, uma vitória consecutiva para o papel de Tanya McQuoid. Na categoria de minissérie ou antologia, foi Niecy Nash-Betts quem levou o Emmy de Melhor Atriz Secundária, pelo papel na série “Monstro: A história de Jeffrey Dahmer”, da Netflix.

Também nesta categoria, Paul Walter Hauser venceu o seu primeiro Emmy ao ser distinguido como Melhor Ator Secundário por “Black Bird”, da Apple TV+. A 75.ª cerimónia de entrega dos prémios Emmy pela Academia de Televisão decorreu no Peacock Theater, em Los Angeles.
